Art

At Nelson Mandela School art adds a creative dimension to the school as it helps our pupils develop their self-confidence by expressing themselves through the elements of art, developing skills of visual communication. At Nelson Mandela School we have high expectations and encourage children to progress through their art activities and develop their own skills and interests through a wide range of mediums and experiences. We provide opportunities to develop creative and practical art skills, allowing pupils to explore and experiment as well as celebrating their work and recognising their achievements through display.
